To upgrade
to One Click Publishing
Directly
from the RoomWizard firmware site: Browse
to a RoomWizard device.
- Click
on “RoomWizard
Setup” at the bottom of the page.
- Enter your Password.
- Click on “Firmware” and
then “Upgrade”.
- *Note: If you currently have RoomWizard
firmware version 1.x, you must uncheck both
boxes (Preserve network settings & Preserve
all other data). If you have RoomWizard firmware version
2.0 or higher, you may leave the boxes checked.
- Click
on “Upgrade
This Wizard” or, if you currently have firmware version
2.03 or higher, you can click “Upgrade All Wizards”.
- Click
on “Accept” and
wait for the device to download the firmware.
- Click on “Perform
Upgrade
If your firewall prevents the device from downloading, the firmware you can download the file to a local FTP server
or your PC.
From FTP Server
- Download the firmware to
your FTP server.
- Browse to a RoomWizard
device.
- Click
on “RoomWizard
Setup” at the bottom of the page.
- Enter your Password.
- Click
on “Firmware” and
then “Upgrade”.
- Click
on the “Upgrade
firmware from” radio button.
- Enter the FTP address,
Username and Password.
- *Note: If you currently have RoomWizard firmware
version 1.x, you must uncheck both boxes (Preserve
network settings & Preserve all other data).
If you have RoomWizard firmware version 2.0 or higher, you may leave
the boxes checked.
- Click
on “Upgrade
This Wizard” or, if you currently have firmware version
2.03 or higher, you can click “Upgrade All Wizards”.
- Click
on “Accept” and
wait for the device to download the firmware.
- Click on “Perform
Upgrade”
From your PC.
- Download the firmware to you PC. Browse to a RoomWizard
device.
- Click on “RoomWizard
Setup” at the bottom of the page.
- Enter your Password.
- Click
on “Firmware” and
then “Upgrade”.
- Click
on the “Upgrade
firmware from a CD-ROM…” radio button.
- *Note: If you currently have RoomWizard firmware version
1.x, you must uncheck both boxes
(Preserve network settings & Preserve
all other data). If you have RoomWizard firmware
version 2.0 or higher, you may leave the boxes checked.
- Click
on “Upgrade
This Wizard” or, if you currently have firmware
version 2.03 or higher, you can click “Upgrade
All Wizards”.
- Enter the location of the
firmware file (Browse button is available).
- Click
on “Accept” and
wait for the device to download the firmware.
- Click
on “Perform
Upgrade”
